Welcome to the HMS Collingwood Association website.

According to the Association's constitution the aims and objects of the Association are:

  • To bring together in mutual friendship all those who served in HMS Collingwood
  • To assist each other when required
  • To keep in contact with each other
  • To maintain links with the Royal Navy and other suitable organisations.

The HMS Collingwood Association is for people from the whole spectrum of its rich history. We have members who were seamen and communicators in the war, greenies and pinkies from the electrical branch golden years of the fifties, sixties and seventies, WRNS, and other members of the ships company.

We presently have about 300 members and always welcome new people; we are especially keen to recruit people from the eighties and nineties. We offer two excellent reunions a year, a newsletter and now this website. We also offer the chance to meet old friends and, more importantly, make new ones. We all have a common background and talk the same language. So, if you are new to us, go the contacts page and get in touch.

This website is administered by Peter Lacey. If you would like to contribute to the site please contact Peter on the contacts page.

There are many pictures in the various galleries and we can have as many pictures as we like. If you send yours in we will be happy to publish them.
