Royal Air Force / Royal Flying Corps / Royal Naval Air Service

The Royal Flying Corps was the air arm of the British Army during World War 1 and the Royal Naval Air Service was the air arm of the Royal Navy. They merged in 1918 to form the Royal Air Force.
