The Museum of the County Regiment for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight – Serving the Crown for nearly 300 years.

 

Admission

Entrance to the Museum is FREE.
All donations are gratefully received as we no longer receive any funding from the Ministry of Defence.

All areas of the museum galleries are accessible.

 

Opening Hours:

Tuesday to Friday: 10am to 4.30pm

Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays: 10.30am to 3pm

Bank Holidays: May 6th, May 27th, August 26th

Temporary Exhibition: Fritz- the Regimental Mascot from D Day

Fritz was captured at D Day by the 1st Battalion, was adopted by the Regiment and went on to be their Regimental Mascot, taking pride of place at parades and events until 1949.
